Hey Everybody,
International Pipe Smoking Day is finally here! The one we look forward to all year round, the day made just for celebrating the hobby of smoking pipes. We’re here again to celebrate in style, and we have a whole bunch of really cool stuff put together to make this the best IPSD yet! I gave you all a little rundown yesterday with what to expect, and now I can let you in on the rest of the details as well as officially open up all our great IPSD promos to you!
As I mentioned yesterday, we are again putting together our terrific IPSD Goodie Bags. Starting NOW, all orders containing $35 or more worth of pipes, pipe tobacco, and accessories will have one automatically added to their shopping cart (please note cigars are excluded from the item total). We’ve put together 400 Goodie Bags which seems like an awful lot to me, but Bobby G. thinks we’re going to run out by noon, and who am I to argue? These bags are full of really cool stuff I’m sure you’ll enjoy, so get your order in early and score yourself a bunch of free stuff.
Next up, I’m proud to formally introduce Hearth & Home Darbyshire! The latest creation from the tobacco-soaked brain of Russ Ouellette, Darbyshire is a hot-pressed crumble cake of red and yellow Virginia and 
dark Burley that is reminiscent of some British brands that are no longer available in the United States. The flavors enhance the tobacco without masking it, and has a wonderful room note. Russ created this terrific blend to commemorate our favorite day of the year, but as I mentioned yesterday if you all enjoy this as much as I think you will, it will end up as part of our regular rotation. Our first shipment probably wasn’t big enough for everyone who will want to try this one, but don’t worry if it sells out, we’ll have more soon!
Those are of course the two most exciting parts of IPSD, but we’ve got a whole bunch of really great specials to further celebrate this momentous holiday! Ben – The goodie bag is free. We had a very short-term glitch that was making it so items that were part of our promotional sales were not properly calculating in the shopping cart and applying the freebie. It was fixed in under 10 minutes, but if your order was affected and you paid for the goodie bag, drop an e-mail to mailinglist@pipesandcigars.com with your order # and we’ll get you squared away before we ship it out. Sorry for any confusion!

Just got my goodie bag today. I was shocked 3 tins of pipe tobbacco a small sample bag of a blend pipe tobbacco, pipe cleaners and house slippers to boot. Wow is all I can say , all of this is worth more than $25. Thank you.
