Richmond Wrapup

Well, the CORPS show for 2012 is over, and although I’m sorry that it’s over so quickly, I’m looking forward to getting home. The initial reaction to our new Fusilier’s Ration has been better than I could have hoped for. We sold out of our first run before the release date, but another batch is coming in a few days

This show is always fun and friendly, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Yesterday was sunny and in the 8os (too nice for indoor activities for some) but the people who came out were enthusiastic and I got a chance to introduce our blends to a lot of new people- all in all, a success.

Now for some other great news, our newest team member, Jim Murray has worked out deals to acquire some pipes from a few artisans, and these beautiful pieces will be on the site soon. Look for announcements during the week. Some of the names will surprise you.

Next up will be the West Coast Pipe Show in Las Vegas during the first weekend of November. We’ll  have a golden ticket to tobacco enjoyment for those who keep a lookout. I’ll have more on this soon.

I said goodbye to Trevor Birch, who blended our Caramel Apple Pie and spent the weekend with me at the show (his first). He had a great time and we probably have a new convert to pipe shows.

That’s all for now. Keep watching for new updates.
